Lycee Rochambeau French International School Reviews
Not a school for non-native French speakers
This is a school with private school tuition based on the French public school system. If you speak French, your child should do fairly well, if not he/she may struggle without the teacher(s) giving or recommending much support. It is very much, a sink or swim situation. They won't say much more than, well, she's not French so she'll have to work a bit harder. If grades and French elitism are also not an issue then this school could work well for your child.
The priorities usually go with the children of the school teachers (teachers picking the best classes and programs for their child over others), native speakers (English as a second language added to curriculum when the children who need it most are staff children when French as second language needed by about 40% of the class), World Bank and IMF employees/diplomats and finally native English-speakers. As a non-French speaker, be prepared to feel like an outsider.
