About This School
Holy Redeemer School is designed to respect the dignity of all students, recognize individual differences, and promote social justice and other Gospel values as integral elements of Christian living. Holy Redeemer School promotes structure and discipline as an aspect of moral guidance while providing opportunities to worship, to learn, and to grow in character.
We owe much of our success to our experienced, state-certified faculty, whose dedication and commitment to excellence is key to the success of our students. We are proud to announce that the Archdiocese of Washington named our own 8th grade teacher, Ms. Jennifer Eller, the 2008-2009 Catholic Elementary School Teacher of the Year. Ms. Eller was chosen from more than 1,600 Catholic school teachers.
In 2010, Holy Redeemer School had 13 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The Maryland average is 15 students per full-time equivalent teacher.
