My daughter is a graduate from Forestville Military Academy and I am an active parent that still assists the school in many ways. I have seen many changes and wish to see the school continue to progress in the matter that they are doing.

Tracey Ham: Forestville Military Academy is one of the best schools in PG County. The continuity and the dedication of the students, faculty, teachers and parents is unbelievable. The students at FMA are leaders in their own right. They are responsible for the programs that they join. They take the lead role in the day to day activities and they do the grunt work to make the programs a success. They take education very seriously and drive for perfection in accomplishing their goals individually and collectively. FMA has awarded my son the opportunity to become a success story from the curriculum offered to the dedication of the instructors. As a result, he has matured and demonstrated the skills he has learned to be able to take the next leap to further his career. Forestville Military Academy needs to remain an Academy.

It is an excellent program. In addition to the challenging academics, the military aspect teaches discipline, integrity, loyaalty and how to be a leader and good follower. I highly recommend thhe school. One of the best in the County.

Forestville Military Academy
Yvette Thompson: Forestville Military Academy is the correct name for this school. It is a full fledge and the only military academy in PG County. This is my cadet's first year and he has begun the transformation from child to young man. The instructors actually care about these cadets. The military based training also provides them with the skills to succeed in the real world. I can't think of a better choice in high schools. If you want academic excellence, integrity and care as the environment your child experiences throughout their last 4 years with you, this is the place. The educational results listed on this site do not represent with accuracy AYP or many other educational points.

Sharon R. Sims: The Forestville Military Academy is a educational facility that I would recommend to any potential Student, Parent or concerned Guardian. Where not perfect, the Military Academy has raised the bar, and results are evident over the last five years via State and National testing results. Livng up to the School's pledge below, know that the effort of the Leadership and Staff, Military & Non-Military are making a diffirence at this PGCPS elite program.

Forestville Military Academy is committed to a superior program that will satisfy the 21st century educational needs of all students with an infusion of military standards. Our educational program will help create a school that acts in concert with the parents and community by providing support so that students will be successful academically and socially. A developmental process of planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating our program best accomplished this. Our mission can be achieved through qualitative and quantitative assessment. “
