Calvary Baptist Church Academy Reviews
I am a former student who attended Calvary Baptist for elementary and middle school. This school provided an acceptable and sometimes above-average education at the cost of individuality and personal freedoms. Students are told the 'right' way to think, dress, and behave. I don't regret my decision to leave Calvary after middle school, and I had a MUCH better experience at a local Catholic high school where I was able to be myself and where I was offered better academic opportunities.
In addition, Calvary has very limited resources, and often uses outdated textbooks, computers, and other materials. Finally, the school uses biased textbooks that only communicate their conservative Christian views on history/science/etc. and do not produce well-rounded individuals who are ready for the real world.
