Erin: I will not be back next year. Teachers more interested in their pay than teaching the kids. Parents treated as second class citizens with administration acting like royalty binging on 100k plus incomes at the detriment of the schools operating budgets. The only reason I will return to Deer Crossing is to vote the current socialist school board out of office in November.

Ron Cantu: School is operated like a prison. Parents not excluded from this treatment.

School staffed by individuals who are less than happy about their job. If you expect to have a positive experience you may be let down.

You know exactly who this is............: Rude staff. Most of these reviews are written by the school and appear the day after honest negative reviews are posted. Look at the dates. Got to all sites. Read all reviews. You will figure out that this school has something to hide.

I like DCES. The teachers are very good and very diverse in their teaching styles. They offer extra curricular activities such as plays, talent shows, running club, etc. Very active PTA, which does a phenomenal amount for the school. My criticisms are, that because we are a small town, there isn't much diversity within the community, the gifted and talented program is at another school and only goes until 3rd graded, and they do not offer Spanish at the elementary level.
