Pinehurst Elementary School

Karen Long: My son and his family just moved to Salisbury having finished a 20 year career in the United States Navy.  My grandson registered last week to begin school at Pinehurst Elementary School.  Upon arrival at the school on Friday, the staff in the office were terrific and extremely accomodating and fast to enroll him at Pinehurst.  We also met with the principal, Mr. Twilley, who was exceptionally nice, warm and welcoming to our family, but especially to my grandson.  Yesterday was his first day of school and he came home with much excitement!  He talked about music and art and the best playground ever, but his mother recognized the teacher, Mrs. Fineran, as being kind and caring to him on his first day!   All in all I don't think we could have had a better experience anywhere.  Thank you to all who have been so wonderful.  Our family is ever grateful.  Karen Long, Grandmother of Riley Hairr
