Harford Friends School is the not the most conveniently located, nor is it in a state of the art facility (yet!) It is, however, the warmest and most stimulating environment for learning we could possibly choose for our daughters. The curriculum is challenging, the teachers are top-notch and the head of school is one of the finest anywhere. The experience is something you need to see for yourself.
Not only will my children leave HFS well prepared for any high school they choose, they will have developed the self-confidence and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in life. At HFS, the Quaker principles of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship are not only infused in the daily teaching, but consistently shown by example.
We are impressed by the quality of the education they will receive, as well as the nuturing of their individual gifts and natural curiosity. This is a small school making a big difference in the lives of children and their families.

Sheila Dews-Johnson: My daughter has attended Harford Friends School for the last two years and it was one of the best decisions we could have made re the choice of school. The educational value of a "Friends" school is second to none as far as I'm concerned. The learning environment together with the excellent teaching staff, especially the Head of School, Jonathan Huxtable, create a place where children strive and reach their full potential. It's an incredible school, worth every penny!
