Becket Washington School Reviews
As administrator of the Becket Arts Center, I have interacted, on some level, with every student and staff member at the Becket Washington Elementary School. They are dedicated, forward thinking, inclusive and generous. I have never encountered a group of teachers more willing to look at how to improve their curriculum for the kids they teach. Our community is very lucky. The facilities are practically new and beyond the scope of any small, rural town's hopes. There is a new part-time principal who is young, creative and looking at how to include the overall community and make the school even more praiseworthy. She is starting with an award winner and we expect everyone involved will make our little school even more spectacular.
I remember when I went to this school for 3rd and 4th grade. I never really liked school, but most kids don't. I move around a lot so I've been to a lot of different schools and I have to say this was the best school I have ever been to. My techers actually paid attention to what the kids were doing. And they would give you one on one if you needed it. I left that school with A's and B's. They pushed me to show my full potential. I was so sad when I left this school.
