Memorial Elementary School
concerned parent: I am horribly dissapointed in this school! My neighbor is in 2nd grade there and has been bullied by fellow classmates for almost 2 years now. I have watched him grow up and he used to love to go to school now he is afraid. Since last year his family has been dealing with his teachers, princible and even superintendant with no change what so ever. He is still being bullied to this very day and I have grown more and more dissapointed with the responses from the very people that should be protecting our children not putting them in danger. I too have a 4 yr old who is in preschool (not in milford), but my husband and I have already decided that we will be moving out of milford before he has to join the public school system. If there are any other parents that are having similar issues with their children please use this as a forum to speak out. The more out in the open these issues are the more the teachers and schools won't be able to continue to ignore it. Each day this child comes home with tears in his eyes is one day too many. If this is how memorial or even the milford school system as a whole deals with bullying what promise do you have knowing that your child is safe in school as well.
