Prior to enrolling my children to this school I interviewed many parents. In all most said if you can make it past Kind. & 1st grade the school is great. There are a few teachers that need to retire and move on, specifically in the lower grades. I have to say the teachers do play favorites. In all I know of four families who wanted to pull their child from this school (their is a definite issue with the first grade ). Early elementary children should love school & love their teachers. It is very disturbing to see some children welcomed with open arms while other children are not treated the same.

I moved here several years ago and sent my children to Assumption school. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the excellent level of education the are receiving but also the warm and close-knit enviroment they are learning in. Especially over the past 2 years, with additions of several more extra-curricular activities and programs. My children absolutely love this school! They willl be sad when their time there is over. As a parent I also love how the school is almost like an extended family both with the staff and other families. The students that I have seen graduate Assumption have gone on to great schools and do wonderful things. We are so lucky to be part of the Assuption "family".

Having been an Assumption Parent for 9 years, I have found the experience nothing but positive. The small class size allows the students to get to know each other extremely well and the teachers also know the individual children and their different personalities as well.
The small environment provides a closeknit warm environment without lacking in discipline and a wonderful education. As a parent, I have been able to enjoy many special events and trips that I may not have been able to share with my child in a larger school.
I would recommend this school to anyone who would like to participate in this type of environment.
