The Walker School

meagan: i loved this school. I went to the walker school from 2007-2010. When i went in i was a kid who was causing trouble could not focus and did not know my boudaries. Before i went i could not go anywhere without someone supervising me. Now having graduated from walker i can go to the gym the YMCA and many other places without my mother worrying that i may cause trouble.  I was never a residintal student but had friends who were so if your child is not safe to live at home than they will keep them there and slowly transititon them home. Now i am 14, and am attending antother private school but it is less resterctive. I have 2 teachers to 8 kids. While i was in walker i was getting restrained and everything but it was like they shaped and molded me into who i am now. Leaving walker was the hardest thing for me. I felt so attached to the staff in my last days there. A week after i left i already was calling back it was increadible how attached i was to them i think any parent with a child who had ADHD ODD Bipolar or a speech disorder never give up walker will hold and guide you let them walk you down the path to sucess. ...Wish you the best of luck, Sincerely
