Lighthouse School Reviews

This school is great

Lighthouse a great school, I know because I went there for eight years. It is overwhelming at first. You will find more loving people in that school more than what you would find in your entire life.

This place gave me nightmares!

I did not attend this school, but I did take a tour of it when I was looking for another school to go to! There was something odd about it when I walked in. Then they took me on a tour without my mom present, which scared the hell out of my mom. The things I saw here were comparable to a youth detention center. Every 5 minutes, alarms would go off and some scary looking men would run down the halls and into some room to restrain a student. You had to stand against the walls of the corridors or you would be trampled. When they ran past you it felt like you were alongside a racetrack. I saw an old friend there during the tour and they put me in a room so I could see him, but instead I heard another kid get restrained & verbally abused in the next room. "Stop it! You are acting like a 2-year-old!" he yelled at him. Meanwhile my mom was on a separate tour and sees what I saw and demanded to see her son. The staff were very condescending and saying he was perfectly safe. She said "No! I want to see my son, now!" There were padded walls and security cameras in every room - 1 pointed in the room and 1 pointed out the window - which was unusual at the time. But this place gave me the creeps and gave me nightmares. I saw more red flags at this place & this was just a tour. To parents and potential students, you might want to bypass this one. Prison is a better place to learn!
