Shining Stars Learning Centerkim hynes: I have three sons ages 4, 6 and 9 and they have all become part of the shining stars family over the years. I do not think I could ever find a more competent yet loving environment to send my kids. All the staff are irreplaceable.

Shining Stars Learning CenterAs a parent and a teacher I have to say that we do face alot of difficult challenges in the child care field. Many parents often ask "how do you do this all day"? Honestly put yourselves in the place of a teacher and ask yourself, how can you be the best? The answer treat every child as if they were your own. You cant always please everyone but we sure try.

Shining Stars Learning CenterTiny: I am a former Preschool teacher (not an employee of SSLC)/ also a parent. My child has been at SSLC for 3 years, and likes it. Being on both sides, I understand the daycare world. SSLC is a great school. No matter what daycare your child attends, they are bound to get bit/or bite, your child will have lost items, they will get paint or food on their clothing, they will fall and get a cut/bruise, you will meet great teachers/and not so great teachers. Whether kids are home or at school, what some parents fail to realize is "KIDS WILL BE KIDS"! I myself had issues regarding my child at SSLC, I was upset, however its not how it happened, what matters most to me is, "HOW ITS HANDLED!"

Shining Stars Learning CenterMy daughter loves Shining Stars and would go everyday if she could. To the person with the negative post ..... I've never seen anyone on a cell phone or dressing skimpy. The staff wear jeans and tshirts. I love this place and so does my daughter. Definitely worth looking into! No complaints here!

Shining Stars Learning CenterGina: Shining Stars is NOT a Montessori school. After two months I removed my son from this school for a myriad of reasons, a few; no air conditioning, staff dresses inappropriately (skimpy), uses cell phones during work, offers snacks yet only gives the same cheap stuff every week (Saltines & Rice Crispi’s) and we had to request that they change my sons diaper more frequently after several rashes. Parents please do educate yourself on childcare, go to the MA education department site, and do not be afraid to the provider’s questions.

Shining Stars Learning CenterShining Stars is one of the best child care centers in the area. To the person who wrote a negative review, take the time to educate yourself about the different phases that children can go through. Better yet, feel free to shadow any classroom at anytime of the day.

5Shining Stars is a great school. I recommend SSLC to everyone. The staff was so great with my child. They are always happy and have such positive attitudes! I feel that this school gives everything they have into making the children feel at home and having a great time! The curriculum is above and beyond. I feel that not only is my child's happiness important to them but also his safety. This is a great school and should be visited by all parents!

5We Love Shining Stars! The teachers are dedicated, educated, and fun loving. I truly feel as though they love my child!
My son has been there for 4 years-from infancy through his preschool year. He loves it to.
The owner is consistently there to help with questions and offer solutions. I would highly recommend it!

Shining Stars Learning CenterI am very dissatisfied with the care at Shining Stars Learning Center. The owner of the school is never there. She doesn't manage the staff and thus the staff is unhappy. The are unable to give proper supervision and thus many children are bitten and bullied. The owner allows this kind of behavior. Steer clear of this place! It is pitiful that they don't care enough to protect the children who attend.
