Willow Hill School Reviews
I ended up attending this school for two years(sept. 2008-June 2010), it was the worst two years of my life, it put my previous high school to shame(whatever challengers i had at the previosu place were child's play to the torture i endured here), even almost a year later, i am still mentally, emotionally and physcially recovering from this place, the teachers are heartless, cold and ruthless. The Academics and circulum are a joke, the student population was pretty homogenous and socially closed society(if your kid is an individual or unique they are doomed.) This school aims to appeal to kids with all sorts of disabilities including those on the spectrum, but in reality the school was originally desgined for the dyslexic; the school babies the kids/teenagers and basically look down on them. i lost two years of my life here, feeling heavily isolated, picked on, being made fun of, buried neck deep in homework and all while having to endure an hour commute with a horrible bus comapny to and from(i lived far away from the school). The whole experience was unbearable, i couldn't wait to graduate and never look back, it's a miracle that i survived and have any sanity at all If your kid is a hardworker, it's a gurantee if he lives far away like me he will have little to no social life left when you take out all the time commuting, doing all the homework and attending school. I don't want other inncoent or struggling souls to go through the horrible journey or making the same mistake as me, hence why i wrote this review here, as a huge warning to future families or kids thinking of sending their kids here, just stay away. I'm choosing to stay anonymous so the school or others can't track me down for writing my honest reveiw.
I think this school is wonderful!. The academic environment is supportive but challenging. The FEAT program provides unique outdoor learning opportunities and the Theartre Arts program is outstanding. The transformation that many children have undergone in the last year is phenomenal.
I agree with this review highly. What a terrible place. How is this place still standing?
Very poor academics. Does not challenge their students. Infantalizes their students and does not prepare them for life or academics in the real world. Ill defined population that they serve.
