Galvin Middle School

The teachers, staff and parents at the Galvin Middle School show an enormous amount of school spirit, especially in these days of fiscal cutbacks that are beyond everyone's control.  The teachers go out of their way to provide the very best education for our children, often times supplying the classrooms with materials purchased with money out of their own pocket.

They never forget the reason they entered this profession--to be the ones guiding our children towards the very best education they can get.

The parents also supplement many supplies for the classroom as well, so that the teachers do not have to bear the burden.  And, the parents in the Wakefield community have stepped up by volunteering countless hours assisting teachers in the classroom, during lunch period, out at recess, on field trips, hosting extracirricular activities and even so far as acting as volunteer librarians when the town had to layoff the school library staff.

In these days of fiscal cutbacks, we in the Wakefield community are bound and determined that our children will not suffer because of it.
