Wayland High School Reviews

By , a Former Student on

Wayland High School was a great experience for me and my closest friends.  Times were tough in the late 70's and early 80's with inner-city busing issues, and my class starting SADD, due to all the kids killed in drunk driving accidents.  But the school maintained a strong hold for us kids.  We always felt that we had support and structure, as well as a great curriculum and excellent teachers.  The sports during gym and after school were above average, as well as the subjects covered and opportunities to be a outstanding student and to find our passions.  There was a certain amount of "class division" as to where you lived in town, but all seemed welcomed and treated fairly at school.
