Tanya M.: My son has been at this school since he was 3 years old. Gorman Fort Banks has an excellent special needs program, and since he needed to continue services, he went there. The school is rather large (around 500 students), but there is a great feeling of community: kids and parents know each other, and there are lots of school events to strengthen this relationship. PTO does an excellent job on supporting the school: a large number of parents volunteers at school and runs several fundraising programs to support Gorman Fort Banks Elementary. The standards for teachers are set high, and the high academic score at the end of each year shows that.
I definitely recommend this public school, and happy that my child is attending it.
