This has been the best school for my son who struggled with the public schools. The teachers are excellent and the small student numbers works well. It has changed the life of my son.

regretful parent: Several older students at this school (there are only about 50 of varying ages – all ages interacting with each other) taught my TWELVE year old how to smoke cigarettes, what pot looks and smells like (a kid brought it to school – a new take on “show and tell,” I suppose), what “shrooms” do and how to identify the hallucinogenic fungi (before this lovely educational experience my child thought they were just cute, tasty, and sometimes poisonous), a student stated that one other student came to school “tripping,” I could go on and on. Having my child attend this school was the worst decision my husband and I have ever made. We paid $1600.00/mo. for our child to be wholly unsupervised at lunch and break time (this is when the kids smoke and do God knows what else) and be “educated” by delinquent kids.  Certain students often yell out in class and curse at staff. The staff is ill-prepared to handle the chaos that regularly ensues and did an extremely poor job of keeping us informed on a daily basis, if at all. Educationally, I am not sure how to rate this place; however, I did find it to be quite unchallenging for my child (high functioning autistic spectrum/2E). It’s more of a dysfunctional zoo squeezed into a tiny warehouse.
