About the MEAP
What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?

What is it?

Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy
I sent my child there not long ago and I had no hesitation taking her out. The staff were unprofessional and didn't seem to keep important files of grades and transcripts when it was required for her other school during enrollment. The staff aslo seemed to bring personal issues on onto some students and would mark it as the student being "insubordinate". The principal didn't seem to care at all what situations occured with the teachers and students and would barely be there. All the parents I know, no longer send their kids to that school and I would not recommend it for anyone in the area or out. The students don't seem to be in a safe learning enviroment.

Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy
This school is a very good school. My child loves the learning experience that they provide. There are a lot of different race there. In high-school the students get along really well with each other and with their teachers. my child used to be bullied at her old school but not once has she told me that she has gotten bullied there. i think that this is the school that she will stay until her senior year.
