Bridges Assessment Center

Jessica Willingham: I was there in 2007 and I would give this place less stars if I could. The school work was apporxamitly 6th grade level and I was a high school senior. The program itself was mentally and emotionally disturbing. I very much so have to disagree with kayla cain. This place ruined my life. If anyone on is considering placing a child here I would strongly encourage you not to. But instead recommend a place in Escanaba, MI called Bay Pines Center. It was there that helped me to reach my full potential. I am now a sophomore at Western Michigan University with a major Social Work and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be where I am at now if Bridges was the last placement i was sent to. If anyone has any question feel free to e-mail me and I'll answer any question from the closest thing I can get to a unbiased perspective.

This is in fact not a school it is a placement center. When I was placed there at the age of 16 in 2005 the staff members were abusive and the place was like a prison. They watch your every move including when you use the bathroom or shower. This place is a horrible place and I dont understand why it still exists or is listed as a school.
