I love this school. It's fun and since I've arrived, I've only received 4.0s on every card marking! I am beyond happy at this school. I'm never going to leave! ♥ And I love our Principal

Detroit International Academy for Young Women is truly unbelievable! It is the ONLY (k--12)all girls school in MI!!!!!! I would love to enroll my daughter for grade 10th but we recently moved. I went to their open house meeting the other day and discovered a lot. The principal is strong and definitely cares about D.i.a. And also I think they mentioned that they have the JROTC for middle school too

they don't stick to the dress code that is inforced at the begining of the school year. They girls wear anything and everything, The young ladies are rude and yes they use there cell phones when it not allowed. They need to re-vamp the system and teach the young ladies how to be young ladies. Plus the teachers need to spend more time with them on learning.

The girls are very disrespectful to teachers. They "talk back" to the teachers and there is no consistency with enforcing rules. For instance, students continue to bring and use cell phones which is distracting to the learning environment.
