Best School in the Area!

By , a Parent on

Our daughter went to a private school from Pre-K to 4th grade, but the cost was prohibitive and forced us to look for a public school in Southern Macomb county. Our research found that Fraser looked to be the best choice and we have not been disappointed. She is graduating this year with honors and has utilized a number of the excellent award winning programs offered by Fraser. The Fraser Performing Arts Center has the best programs in the area and their band is top rated year after year. The CTE programs are excellent with numerous opportunities available. The sports programs are run well with many  successful teams. Academically they have many AP and advanced classes that my teen has utilized and gotten college credits for. The atmosphere is great and the school stays on top of problems before they get out of hand. Highly recommended school!

I am a graduating senior of the class of 2012, and I have went to Fraser schools for all of my education. This school--academically-- can be a very great choice; however, it  does vary by teacher, as well as the choice of class and a student's effort.  The biggest issue I have come across is the lack of consequences or the unfitting consequences given to children who disobey the rules; the issues I have personally been involved with that receive the most unjust punishments include sexual orientation and sexual harassment. This is mostly do to the school's ineffectiveness (even after having been approached several times) to enforce strict policies. The way to solve an issue is to have a parent contact the the child's principle and to have the student write an incident report and turn it into the office. The school rarely will address the issue unless contacted by a parent.

We school of choice to the Fraser District and can't express how impressed we are. From the block scheduling to the Sync program that matches up freshman with upper classman for the year which include cocoa and cram that teaches freshman how to "cram" for exams. This school district goes so far out of its way to make these kids well rounded and provide a safe enviroment where learning IS what is going on. Fraser has changed the quality of my kids school career and I am forever thankful to this school that is OUR choice.
