Congratulations to the Emerson staff and administration for receiving this recognition. What high priase for the important work done on behalf of their students! Emerson's mission is, "We are committed to helping every child learn." Under Mr. Madeleine's leadership, the staff, together with parents, are certainly living up to this purpose. Fraser Public Schools is proud of the work done at Emerson as well as in its other five elementary schools. Emerson and our other schools are accepting other Macomb County students from now through Jan 15. Call 439-7004 for information.

My son had to move to Emerson when Dooley closed and I believe it has been the best thing to happen. He is now a B honor roll student in FHS and has the beginings of a very bright future that comes from the dedicated teachers at Emerson. Mr Madeline leads an A+ group of teachers who genuinely care for each stuents future. I also have a younger son and a daughter currently in Emerson. My son has a learning impairment and recieves help from a group of teachers who will help him on his way. My daughter is adjusting well to first grade and has an excelent teacher. I look forward to the first day of school for our toddler and know he will be in good hands in Emerson Elementary.

I went to Emerson as a child and I moved back to Fraser once I got married so my children someday could attend Emerson.  My daughter has been there for 4 years now and it is better than ever!  You will not find better teachers and staff anywhere!  Emerson is a great school and I am so glad my daughter is a student there.

I have loved Emerson since my oldest daughter started K. She is now is 9th grade. I moved to this district when I found out we were expecting. This has been the best decision we could make.  I have 2 daughters still in Emerson and it is a solid learning environment with a GREAT and CARING staff.  I can't say enough good things.

Emerson is an excellent school from all angles.  The dedication of the teachers, staff and parents is remarkable. The building itself is bright and cheerful.  The children are respectful and seem to have a desire to learn.  I could not be more pleased with a school.

My daughter transferred from a private school and everyone was very welcoming to her. The teachers are supportive and work well with parents. This year there seems to be more problems with classmates disrespecting each other and her teacher does not always take care of the problems like in prior years. Having a sixth grade in the elementary school when most districts only go up to fifth grade is of some concern. Overall, most parents I speak to really like the school and feel it is a good learning environment for their children.

Emerson is an interesting school with good opportunities. However, I feel that I'm not being challenged enough. My teacher constantly repeats things in class because other children goof around and don't listen. I'm unhappy and glad this is my last year. I have had a couple good learning experiences but I am finally just starting to get annoyed by other people especially immature boys and girls who are gossip addicts.

I have enrolled my daughters in private schools, charter schools and even attempted home schooling to provide the best education I could for them. I was nervous about having my daughters attend a public school, but am very happy I did. We have been at Emerson for 6 years and would not dream of sending them to any other district. I have been very pleased with Emerson academically and also with their extracurricular activities. I feel there is a happy medium and that is exactly what my children need!!!

My family has been a part of Emerson Elementary for 9 years and counting. I  think the teachers are the best, very dedicated. The curriculum is great at preparing the kids for the upper grade levels. The principal is involved with the kids and their events. I am very happy to have my kids in this school.

This school is great. The teachers and staff care about our children and do give the extra time needed for struggling students with tutoring or direct the parent to get the extra help needed.

This is my child's third year and I have been very happy with the quality of education and activities offered at Emerson.  The teachers and staff take an active interest in my child.  Children are encouraged to be creative and use their strengths to enhance their learning experience.  Communication between parents and staff has never been an issue and I have always found the teachers very receptive to questions and concerns, and the same holds true for the principle and staff.  My child was a transfer student and the entire school (teachers/staff/students) went out of their way to make Emerson a very welcoming place.  They were, and continue to be, very successful.

i feel blessed that my children are fortunate enough to attend Emerson.  Mr. Madeleine and all the staff truly seem to try to get to know all our children, and they really seem to have their best interests at heart.  My housing situation is not what i had hoped for, but i have decided that i will stay put as long as my kids are at Emerson, and will stay in the district until they graduate, even if i have to stay at hanover grove.

The teachers and administration at Emerson are very committed to helping each child achieve his or her full potential.  Although my daughter was a good student in another district, their standards were not on par with this school.  When we started at Emerson, her teacher worked with her to get her "up to speed" with this school's standard of excellence.  We are glad we made the decision to send our daughter to Emerson.

I have 2 children attending Emerson Elementary, this is our 3rd year here.  I could not be more happier with the progress my children have made academically and socially.  With both partents in full-time working conditions contact with the teachers is never an issue with the e-mail systems, progress reports and planners, I never worry about any missed assignments and we always know our childrens progress or anything else that may arise, we're always informed.  I highly recommend Emerson to any family looking for a great school with a supurb staff!

This is my third year at this school and I am very satisfied with my childs education opportunity.  The classroom management and the building management is above par, which says alot for the administration at the school.  The activities provided for the kids and families are adequate and parent involvement is great!  While the Fraser Public School district is highly recommended in the area, I would highly recommend this school to anyone with a K-6 grader entering the district.

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
