An outstanding PS-8 school. Loving, hard-working teachers, totally committed to guiding students through a dynamic and challenging curriculum that is an excellent prep for high school and college. Parents are very active in the school community, creating a family feel. Students routinely score high in regional Math, Science, Language Arts and Spanish testing. There's a wide variety of extracurricular activities such as Science Olympiad and athletic competition - almost 100% of students are involved in sports and other activities. Classrooms and all school activities are well-disciplined, creating an ideal learning environment with no distractions. There are many opportunities for parent volunteers. Tuition assistance is available from the school's Education Foundation.
