Epifanio Vargas, Jr.: I attended SRS when it was K-8 and graduated in 1964. (so quite a few years ago) Even so I think my comments will be relevent. I have (4) brothers and (3) sisters, all of whom graduated from SRS. My little sister I and were fortunate enough to take part in the recent SRS reunion. Even though it was great to see a few "old" friends, the best part was meeting a current teacher and secretary, who through their own words made it clear that the teachers of today still care as much about their students succeeding as the teachers did over 45 years ago. In this day and age of every man (or woman) for themselves, it makes me proud and fortunate to say that I am a SRS alumni.

The school is phenomenal the teachers are very personal, direct, and caring. The number one priority of the Sheridan Road faculty is promoting a higher, personable level of education. The only problem is the parking. (very congested)
