For the younger grades this school is great. By the time they get into 3rd grade though it looses all pretense of being a true Montessori. They are in the 3rd grade not E1. If they missed learning multiplication in the 2nd grade the teacher will not go back for it. In true Montessori there are not grades, bribes or threats. Now he learns mostly from packets with very little time to use any hands on learning. Instead of lecturing the whole class the teacher lectures each grade. I see very little difference between what he is doing and a regular school except it is more chaotic. When I requested a more Montessori teacher I was told that all the teachers rely heavily on packets in the higher grades and the Montessori style doesn't work well with the older kids. Request denied. If you are looking for an authentic Montessori experience I wouldn't suggest Wexford.

My daughter loves this school. She will be entering 2nd grade this year, and has already started doing more advanced material, as has most of her E1 class! We are thrilled!

Nicole: I absolutely love this school. My daughter went here for preschool last year, and she was reading by the end of the year. She could already do basic math. She was only 4! She is back again for kindergarten!
