School Mission Statement
Continuous improvement is the bedrock of ABT. Our small school environment and low student to teacher ratio enables us to differentiate our instruction and teach students of many learning levels and styles. Our teachers must be innovative and technologically versed, as we use a great deal of technology in our classrooms to help multiply our textbooks and engage our students. Our classrooms are highly interactive, with interactive boards in all classroom, the first such school in the Detroit area. Beyond smart boards, these interactive boards turn our classrooms into learning laboratories and loose our students imaginations. We made AYP this year and we're adding a concentrated science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, program to our curriculum this year for selected students in grades 8-11. We provide excellence here. Come and join us.
