School Mission Statement
Continuous improvement is the bedrock of ABT. Our small school environment and low student to teacher ratio enables us to differentiate our instruction and teach students of many learning levels and styles. Our teachers must be innovative and technologically versed, as we use a great deal of technology in our classrooms to help multiply our textbooks and engage our students. Our classrooms are highly interactive, with interactive boards in all classroom, the first such school in the Detroit area. Beyond smart boards, these interactive boards turn our classrooms into learning laboratories and loose our students imaginations. We made AYP this year and we're adding a concentrated science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, program to our curriculum this year for selected students in grades 8-11. What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?

What is it?

S. M. Taylor: ABT is a School where your child can learn what he or she needs in order to strive in this ever changing world, and go to college leaving you with a piece of mind. ABT has a staff of caring teachers and School Leaders who are willing to invest in your child; when you speak, they listen.. I like that they care about our children and they encourage the children to make the grade...why wouldn't you want to send your child to a school where they have excellent teachers, they are making the grade and have a caring staff.........
