Northeast Middle School

Previously my children attended another local middle school where there was always a lot of drama and I actually had a teacher tell me that the projects the parents spent the most money on received the highest grades in her class!  Our family switched to NE and couldn't be happier.  The staff is caring and willing to go the extra mile for students.  Teachers have offered to help children before school, after school, and at lunch.  Students make up their own after school clubs and teachers volunteer their time to supervise.  It is a very caring atmosphere where students needs are obviously important to the staff.  My biggest concern in making the switch was that the academic standards might not be as rigorous in a more laid back environment as this school seemed to have, but we are now into our third year and my experiences have convinced me that the teachers know what they are doing.  Children leave here well prepared for success at the high school.  In a district of excellence, this school is tops!
