Deanna: I liked steele when I was younger and went there. My children have gone to 3 schools and then My son had to go from Oakridge to steele and now I hate steele he got bad grades at steele but yet every other school he got good grades and was on honor roll. So I took him out of steele and he was back to good grade I would never tell anyone anything good about steele cause there is nothing to be said. Also when he came from steele they looked at his records and tested him and found that steele was not teaching him things that need to be. He is now back at Oakridge doing great and also we see honor roll every time. Steele is also not even on the list for good schools.

Steele Middle School
Shakiyla: What I think about steele middel school is that its a school of competition a school of fun its a school of learning to be honest i would choose steele over any other school just because i like it in i am cool with all the staff in students so thats why steele middel school is a great school to me.

What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of four levels:exceeded standards (level 1), met standards (level 2), basic (level 3) and apprentice (level 4). The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard (levels 1 and 2).
