I love this school! My school is very focused on us students getting the best education they can get. But that's if the students want to focus and BE IN CHARGE OF THEM SELVES! In all this school has a very supportive staff and that influences the students, and lets them know how the staff feels about them!

Perry Middle School
swell628: I believe that this school is very student focused. They not only focus on academics, but the overall well being of the child. Counselors, support staff, special education teachers and administrators are very focused. I do believe they are underfunded as to helping young adults with emotional issues and special accomodations, but I believe they do the best with what they've got!

What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of four levels:exceeded standards (level 1), met standards (level 2), basic (level 3) and apprentice (level 4). The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard (levels 1 and 2).
