Alternative Center for Education

To put it very simply, ACE is a school where one can develop the skills required to pass high school and go onto higher learning, but only if you're willing to put forth the effort. The teaching staff is wonderful, and won't hesitate to help if you ask for it, while also making it very clear that they can only teach you the material, they can't make you learn it.

The school is given much leeway in terms of teaching methods and how the school is run. Because of this, the school has been made to fit the needs of those who are being overlooked in larger public institutions. This means that it can help serve a more specialized group of students, rather than just the majority of students who fit in at normal high schools.

I have much to thank the ACE staff for, they helped me get back on the right track, make up classes I hadn't bothered with for years, and work my way up to higher education. I hope to be attending MSU next fall, and it wouldn't be possible without the possibilities offered at ACE.
