Ive not visit this school yet, But my grandson goes to this school and He has had several incidents to occur at this school. I will be looking into the BARTH SCHOOL classrooms and there handling of the students from a outsider looking in the school is very unjust.

When I first toured Barth Elementary I was very impressed with the building, the curriculum, and the small town atmosphere. However, my children were victims of severe bullying. Although this can happen at any school, the teachers and staff at Barth Elementary 'looked the other way' as my children had to battle their way through lessons, lunch recess, and gym, enduring daily kicks, punches, choking, jeers, threats, sexual harrassment, and exclusion from other students. Overall, there seemed to be a general lack of control and discipline in the classrooms. I would never recommend Barth Elementary to any parent as I find this type of behavior unseemly, and totally lacking in professionalism.

KRISTI CLARK: I have a 6th grader, 2nd grader and another one in K!!! I am so impressed with Barth. The teachers, staff and principal are WONDERFUL!!! And I DO NOT want to forget the PT parents. There is always something for the kids whether it help with school work, family fun nights or programs for kids and also parents. The list goes on and on and I could name eaCH person, but I don't think I have enough room here to do so. My suggestion for any new parent to the elementary level or moving in from another district --- ENROLL YOUR CHILD AT BARTH. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH FOR BARTH. I WISH ALL 3 OF MY KIDS COULD STAY AND GRADUATE FROM BARTH. !!!!!!!!!!

Denice Lopez: My daughter went to Barth but was supposed to go to Corey. I wanted a better atmosphere for my child. Barth does not need to check who lives in what area of romulus because they already know where each family resides.. It's in the child's file! What they need to do is only allow permanent pick up for children who live out of the area of bus transportation. I had to get to the school a half hour before it let out because people who lived around the corner wanted to pick up their child everyday. Then there are the parents who don't know what the yellow no parking means! However, the actual school and teachers are amazing. I'm sad that my daughter will not be at that school anymore because we moved out of state.

I think that they need to do a better check of students that do not live in the Barth school area, and stop allowing students from all across Romulus attend. Open enrollment is not a good idea, the school is becoming over filled.
They need to do a better job at updating their web-site and the statistics ratio, it is outdated.
