Mark Twain Elementary School Reviews
My son has been attending Conner Creek Academy East for 6 years and my daughter for 3 years. The teachers are dedicated and the communication is excellent. One unique thing at Conner Creek Academy East's academic program is that they have a Spanish program starting at Kindergarten, also that there is a no bully zone. As of this year I have seen a remarkable decline at this school. It seems to me that the administration does not really care about our school or the children. We have a huge bullying problem at CCAE. The consequences for kids that do not behave in class are way off the charts, the school is punishing the children that are causing situations, but never look at the root of the problem at hand so then the problem is never resolved it just resurfaces. I do not see respect for our school from a lot of children and their parents. We have teachers that are really working hard to make Conner Creek a good place to learn and grow, but what is visable is how our school has become a target where children are forgotten. I want to see more of an improve here at Conner Creek Academy East. I want my children to have a school that they can be proud of that has a safe, supportive, caring environment for my children where they can learn and grow into proud adults with promising stepping stones for their future. The school is loosing more good kids each year. Many families are leaving because of the overall poor experiences at Conner Creek Academy East. Myself as well as other parnents are concerned and wonder how bad and long will things have to get before the administration opens their eyes, and decides to bring back our school to a level that we can be proud of again. I am currently looking for a school for my children that they can be proud of going to. At this time there are slim to non on teachers that are keeping their own children in the school that they work at. This is speaking louder than words.
