White Pine Middle School
My son hates this school. He has been bullied this entire year. Staff has been made aware of each and every incident and still has failed to resolve any issue involed. Just recently my son was involved in an accident which was a medical emergency requiring immediate medical attention. My son's symptoms of a severe head concussion which included: drowsiness, slurred speech, lethargic presence, headache, and some others were not taken seriously due to his emotional issues connected with Asperger's Syndrome. I am concerned for his safety every day. Sad.

What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of four levels:exceeded standards (level 1), met standards (level 2), basic (level 3) and apprentice (level 4). The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard (levels 1 and 2).
