About the MEAP
What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of four levels:exceeded standards (level 1), met standards (level 2), basic (level 3) and apprentice (level 4). The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard (levels 1 and 2).

I am very impress with Crescent Academy, my daughter is now a third grader and doing very well. She have gone there since Kindergarten. She had excellent teachers Flanagin, Quinlin, Chadwick. She now have Smith and Morrison...I love, Love them. I just wish they have more programs for the smaller childrens, such as drama, cheerleading etc for after school programs. It seem like they focus more on the older children. I would like to see some of the staff members to get their acts together on talking to parents with attitudes. Overall Good Job!!

This is one of the worse schools ever the their test scores are very bad...they don't even give the students books to take home. The principle cares about nothing but how she looks...If you care about your childs education please don't send your child to this school. They will learn nothing.
