Ashley: I am really pleased with Woodmont Academy. Though in the beginning, things were up and down, due to transitions taking place internally. Everyone is very kind, and respectful. I would definitly recommend this school to other parents. I have 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys, and my 3 oldest attend Woodmont, and they are all doing an outstanding job!

Although the school has gone through some transition, it maintains a strong administration. I feel as though I send my student to a private school, yet there are no fees. The proof is in the test scores people, they are the highest performing charter school in the city.

Please reconsider when considering this school. It has declined drastically over the past few years and they are at the pinnacle decline now. The administration needs a complete makeover, it is poorly ran and many of the workers that have worked for some time I can clearly tell that their morale is extremely low (I wonder why?)...I would not recommend this school to anyone.

After this past school year I have made the choice to remove my child from Woodmont Academy. One of the main things that kept me at the school for the last 3 years was the teaching staff. However due to the unorganized school year and lack of leadership(3 principals this school year) Several staple teachers quit, were fired by the very new principal who knows nothing about the school and/or looking for new employment. This saddens me. Communication is also extremely poor at the school-we find out everything at the last minute if at all. As a parent I expect more for my children. They have no idea what they are doing at that school-the leaders in charge are inexperienced and it shows.

I am a parent who had 2 of my children enrolled in Woodmont Academy for the last 3 years. During that time I have seen 4 principals come through the school and at a few points the school have absolutly no principal or leadership whatsoever. I've seen a revolving door of teachers coming and going due to their lack of satisfaction, organization and poor leadership. I am pulling my students from the school ultimatly because the only reason I was keeping them is with hopes that they would recieve a qualified intructor that I trusted however-all the teachers that did make a difference and truly cared were either, fired, layed off or left due to poor management and leadership at the end of this school year. In conclusion dedicated parents are fed up, staff is fed up and our children deserve better than what Woodmont has to offer.

Elizabeth Alexander: I believe that Woodmont Academy is a school that operates out of the spirit of excellence! The teaching staff are dedicated to each student they have the ability to meet the individual needs of each student, as well as setting the highest goals and standards with the ability of meeting them. I am very pleased with the evidence of academic growth from both MEAP and NWA scores! Woodmont has an excellent school setting I am very excited about the growth and development as well as an exciting year this fall!
