Fillmore Elementary School

Fillmore is horribly disorganized.  For the 2011-2012 school year, they did not send out classroom assignments until September 2nd, meaning a good deal of parents did not have class assignments for their kids when school started on the 6th.  They also started school late the first day due to lack of organization.  The staff is often rude and unhelpful.  The principle makes excuses for why the school is not responsible for any of its own problems, which is why all of these problems are ongoing.  
Some of the teachers are great and helpful, others are substandard.  There is a lack of any after school programs for kids to be involved in.  Budgetary problems have challenged this school, but the administration at Fillmore has done nothing to help the situation at all.  Seek alternative schools if you are in the WCS district.
