Patterson Elementary School
Looking at the students to teacher ratio, that information is obviously outdated.  The avg. student count per class is about 26, and there are two classrooms for each grade.  The school is very small as are the lockers.  Coats, shoes, backpacks line the hallways especially during the cold months.  There is one teacher that I feel should not be teaching.  When my child was in her class, the teacher was absent a lot.  Almost every week my child would say they had a substitute.  I have also heard other parents complain about this teacher.  Programs are lacking, not just in this school but the entire district.  They seemed obssesed with reporting every "disobedient" thing a child does.  Why not  call a parent when a child does something good instead of focusing on whether or not they can stand in a straight line?  More focus and emphasis should be placed on learning academics and preparing them for the next grade level.
