Waterford Kettering High School Reviews
Kettering seems like a great school from an outside perspective, but as a former student I know the reality of it all. It's very overpopulated and that makes it hard for teachers to give their students one on one attention. If you are failing a class it's difficult to get your grade back up. The counselors are not very helpful and frequently changed my classes around and made school very difficult for me. In another comment someone said that "It isn't a school with a whole bunch of cliques" and stated that they would encourage a parent to send their student there. I have to disagree completely. Kettering is FULL of cliques. If you're not on a varsity sport or part of the popular crowd you are ostracized. It COULD be a great school, but they have a lot of work to do! If you have other options, do not send your child to Waterford Kettering.
very average school, has new pricipal, terrible councelors, poor athletics, very good band and musical program, you can get a good education if you take ap courses
Kettering High School is a very good school. It has many classes for everything and student would want. They recently got a new photography class. My student is in that class and she loves it. Plus everyone at Kettering is different. It isn't a school with a whole bunch of cliques. My daughter is friends with every type of person at Kettering. I really encourage you to send you student to Kettering.
