Adams Middle School

I am a grandparent whose raising my grandchildren, and my granddaughter goes to Adams. I know things have changed since I was in elementary school but what are the requirements to become a safety patrol? Today, I sat in front of the school and watched the safety patrol people that were in front of the school and was surprised at how they acted. Only one person had their belt on the rest had their belts under their clothes and you could only see a piece of their belts. I can remember when kids were proud to wear that belt because that meant your behavior was different than other kids. One girl didn't even put her belt on because she was twirling it. There wasn't  that much order . There was one girl even though she had her belt under her clothes she was appearing to try and keep order. She looked to be a mixed race, ponytail and plaid  blouse. There should be a difference between the safety people and the other kids.
