Wixom Elementary School

Melissa Taylor: I love the teachers (at least kindergarten and 1st grade teachers because those are the only ones that I have had exposure to so far).  They really seem to care about the kids.  They constantly evaluate each child and then make sure that they are being taught on the level that is appropriate for their skill level at any given time.  They keep in touch with me frequently via email and by phone during the day as need arises.  I don't have exposure to any other school so I don't know how to compare to another elementary, but from what I hear from other parents with kids in other schools, it looks like the teachers at Wixom go above and beyond. The principal seems a bit over zealous at times but that may be just his way of trying to keep the enthusiam going.  I give the school 5 stars.
