Rogers High School

I am a current student soon to be former. I love Rogers High School. The pride in this school is amazing.  But the school itself really isn't all that great education wise. The teachers don't know how to teach. They are horribly mean. The schools budget is getting cut also. It's getting worse every year. Some might call it 'ghetto' You'll hear often "That's Rogers for ya" in a negative way. Everybody's trying to get out of here as soon as possible. They don't give exams which is pretty necessary for college. Which is a huge reason why I'm leaving.

Also, we suck at sports. We are in a higher conference then we should be due to the number of kids we have in the school. You might think "Oh they have a lot of students they should have a big team" when really not at all. Kids in our school don't go out for sports. It's annoying seeing 10-15 kids go out for a sport. We should be moved down a conference. We don't lose because we suck necessarily. We lose because we barely even have a full team. For example, the girls track team had 10 girls. The Cheer team had 9 girls. Things need to change.  

Rogers will always be in my heart. I had a great Freshmen year. But, I'm willing to leave it behind for a better future for myself when I'm older. GOLDEN HAWKS
