About the MEAP
What is it?
The Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP) is an annual test administered in the fall of the school year and used to assess a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 3 through 8 in math, reading, and writing, in grades 5 and 8 in science, and in grades 6 and 9 in social studies.
How is it Scored?
Students are rated at one of four levels:exceeded standards (level 1), met standards (level 2), basic (level 3) and apprentice (level 4). The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard (levels 1 and 2).

I love it. It is near my house, it has HIGH moral standing, they still do the "pledge of allegiance". It has a pretty good accademic curriculum and I feel my child is safe and being educated as well as her " special -needs are being attended to!

Subha: WONDERFUL SCHOOL. Both of my kids who attend this school excel in math, reading and science. The school has provided them with all kinds of academic inputs that they need at their age. Apart from that they have a wonderful orchestra pogram and character building programs.
