What is it?

The MCA-II are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Which Grades and Subjects?

Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in reading and in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in math.

How is it Scored?

Students score at one of four levels: does not meet standards, partially meets standards, meets standards ,and exceeds standards. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed standards. In order to graduate from high school, students must pass the grade 10 reading and grade 11 math MCA-II exams.

Cedar Creek Community School

I think this school does a good job. My daughter seems to be learning so that is the main thing. My only main concern is that the special needs kids are in the same class as everyone else and it is a disruption to the rest of the class. My daughter is constantly complaining about this. I also wish there was classes for a second language.

Cedar Creek Community School

So far we have been happy with the school. They really try to engage the kids while in class as well as with a variety of after school family events.
