About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See East Range Academy of Technical &Science's test results to learn more about school performance.

Lots of Help :)
Going to high school was always hard for me. I was and still somewhat am a delicate person. I had been two other high schools before coming to ERATS. At each of those schools I was teased and harassed so much by other students that my grades took a nose dive and I started skipping school. I was very much afraid of going to school, which was supposed to be some place safe. Soon enough I couldn't go to school at all and I failed. This happened with both of my previous schools until I went to East Range. The teachers made a special effort to help me and even if I did get teased still by some of the students, I had the support that I needed to face them. I even made friends which was something I had always had problems with. I even started driving! I couldn't do that before because I was too scared. ERATS helped me sooo much, I don't know if I would have ever made it without their help!
