St. John's is a wonderful school that, in my opinion, can't be surpassed.  The academics are exceptional.  The teachers are beyond great!  Each teacher truly knows each student and understands their learning style-whether that student be gifted, needs special services, or is an "average" student.  The greatest part about their teachers is their "loving way" toward each and every student.  It starts with the principal and is seen on every single member of the staff.  If you have a concern, there are not bureaucracies.  You truly feel heard.  The K-8 format is wonderful for the kids, as they get to know all ages of kids and have an opportunity both to mentor and to be mentored.  The school's test scores are beyond the public schools.  Maybe the facilities don't look that nice, but that quickly goes away when you see the beauty inside.  The extra-curriculars are mainly started/run by the parents which can be great, as there are many options for such a small school.  In addition, the kids can play sports without having to be "The best."  This is truly a great community.  I'm thankful everyday that our family has this school.

St Johns is an exceptional school!  Small class sizes, high quality teachers many with masters, individual student attention, warm caring environment, successful student outcomes, are just a few of the many things St Johns has going for it.  We have had one child graduate and another is in 3rd grade.  Our older child is now in advanced classes in high school and is doing well with the good foundation she received at St Johns.  The facility is older, but so are most schools in the area.  However, each class has either a smart or Star board, several have audio enhancement devices, school has a computer lab and the middle school has a one to one laptop program which is beyond what the public schools and the area private schools offer.  Outstanding!
