What is it?

The MCA-II are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.

Which Grades and Subjects?

Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in reading and in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in math.

How is it Scored?

Students score at one of four levels: does not meet standards, partially meets standards, meets standards ,and exceeds standards. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed standards. In order to graduate from high school, students must pass the grade 10 reading and grade 11 math MCA-II exams.

I honestly can not say enough great things about the elementary school teachers, principal, the social worker, the Ebd teacher and even the high school is wonderful i have had lots of help from teachers, principal, school social worker < Katie> the Ebd teachers are wonderful Sara, Jenny, Laura, Terry, I could go on forever they are the best my children Like the Dover Eyota school thank you to all!!!

shawn: i love the teachers and principal they are so helpful!!! my son loves it here!!! my son has a iep and they are great and helping and listening to u!!! also i have had great help with dan (social worker) he does great job!!!!
