Our Moose Lake Elementary School is an excellent environment for student learning. We practice social skills where students learn respect, responsibility, and safety. Students work in collaboration in many subject areas. This simulates the real world. Workers put forth the best product when ideas are shared and opinions are respected. Students that show leadership help tutor others and often take lead roles in monthly social skill kick-offs. Teachers make real connections with students as evidenced when former students return to visit the classrooms. The local PTA does a tremendous job of fund raising, supporting volunteers, and providing special programs to enhance student learning. The administration provides data feedback from local and state testing to help us to focus on the needs of our students. Moose Lake Elementary is doing well to provide the skills for their students and is always looking to become better.

I am a teacher at Moose Lake Elementary School. I feel our staff is very well educated and everyone tries to get the best out of all the students. I feel this is an elementary school with a positive attitude. Students and staff respect one another and treat people as individuals. Despite a limited budget and new duties added frequently, our teachers work very hard to give students the best education possible.

Anonymous: My son is a kindergartener. I have been very impressed with his teacher . She has helped my son become excited about learning. He looks forward to going every day! Even in kindergarten, there are a variety of classes (art, gym, music, library). I believe he is getting a very well-rounded education!

My family moved to the area about two years ago and my 3rd grader was going to a bigger school and didn't like it. When she started going to Moose Lake Elementary she loved it. She comes home and talks about how she loves this school better. She said the teachers are nicer and help me out when I need it. As a parent, the other parents, teachers, and administration have been very friendly and welcoming to our family. They have many extra curricular activities that she can join. She loved her soccer coach. She said that she liked him because he made it fun to play soccer. She is now in basketball and she loves going to practice everytime. We are very excited and happy that we switched school to Moose Lake Elementary.

Moose Lake Elementary is an outstanding elementary school comprised of a dedicated faculty and as well as high achieving, well-rounded students. Our school is fortunate to have a newly established PTA that supports our school and involves parents in their child's education. Our school provides a wide range of student services that meet the diverse needs of students during the school day. The staff, parents, and students are very proud of our small, yet powerful, elementary school.

I am very pleased with the education my son is recieving. I was a little apprehensive with him transfering to a public school but I was very impressed the first year he attended and have been happy since then.

Lisa Riihiluoma: Moose Lake Elementary has a very caring and dedicated staff who provide a top-notch education in a small school in a small town with limited resources. In spite of those limitations, our students' test scores are consistently above average and our students are offered music, Spanish, art, Knowledge Bowl, Math Masters, Inventors Fair, Peace Makers, after school programs and band at the elementary level. I feel very good about the education my 6th grader and 4th grader have received there.
