Newport Elementary School

Tami F: What a great school!  I grew up going to a small town school and I love that my son gets the same atmosphere but with the "big town" programs.  The front desk staff know who I am, my name, and my child.  They always make me feel welcome.  My son started at this school last year for their new preschool program and it was such a blessing.  The teacher was wonderful!  He is now finishing his second month in Kindergarten and his teacher has shown such an interest in his learning.  He loves going to school and I love that they pay attention to good behavior as much as negative behavior.  The principal takes an active interest in all of the children there, not just the ones that are misbehaving.  Way to go Newport Elementary!
